a couple of thoughts. new madonna single is pretty much perfect. the radio edit does not do the album cut justice. i will draft kobe if given the third overall draft pick; however, if dirk gets center elegibility i may change my mind. the softies have the most aestheticly pleasing album covers. twee-pop is not as enjoyable as it once was (inspired by pitchfork). i'm considering labeling myself as a noise-experimental guy, but for now, some more fabulous pop music from indie to dance to twee.
I don't know too much about the Aluminum Group, although they are relatively popular. I know they are based in Chicago and I happen to like one of their songs. I rediscovered this track flipping through my singles folder on my dad's computer. Not much to say about this track, besides it reminds me a lot of Kings of Convenience.
The Aluminum Group- Pop
I'm doing you guys a real favor by posting this song. It's that good. You'll see.
Au Revoire Simone- The Disco Song
If I had to choose one song to sum up twee-pop, it's gotta be Rocketship's "Hey Hey Girl." It's not the most important or relevent track, but it's held up the best.
Rocketship- Hey Hey Girl
