I know me some pop music. and some of the power-pop coming out from early 90's was some ridiculous shit. These were addictive as curt 3 minute pop songs traced with cocaine, bubblegum and unicorns. Like Adam Banks and Julie Gaffney, power-pop never stood a chance. Well, many of these lost and forgotten gems are chronicled in the remarkable Yellow Pills anthology. This 4 disc-set gets my deservingly high approval rating of an 8.9.
