ok. electronic pop's become a tired genre but this people press play lp is probably the best i've heard since neon golden.

People Press Play - These Days

nick drake's catalog has been milked like a motherfucker, with 2 best of collections and this recently released collection of obscure songs. i love nick drake, but these songs are pretty weak and were unreleased for a reason. here's one of the better ones.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!!!

Even after a HOF career Reggie Miller will always be Cheryl's little brother. It's gotta be tougher for Roger Eno.
Roger Eno - Recalling Winter

I was listening to this non-stop awhile ago and now it sounds kinda crappy. If you had to ask me if this were a great track I would lean towards no, but keep in mind that I have ruined many of the greatest songs of the generation this way.

Remember how I used to pronounce Dan Majerle with a badass, faux-french accent (Ma-jer-le) instead of Mar-ley? Yea, so do I.

ps. xtc wrote brilliant pop songs.

Basically this is an awesome track from the awesome Chromophobia. Gui Boratto did that "Arquipelago" track from one of those Kompakt comps awhile back. He does his thing here and its like the best thing I've heard in awhile.

Gui Boratto - Beautiful Life

There's this girl in my yoga class that wears a Roxy Music shirt. That shit doesn't impress me a bit. I wear my Weezer shirt to class. I win.

vince guaraldi is the famed composer of the charlie brown christmas songs. i don't know how anyone with a soul could dislike these songs, as they embody all the wonder, curiosity, and innocence of childhood.

Happy New Year was not intended to be ABBA's swan song but everything leading up to the single, the divorce of Benny and Frida, signified the end of their sentimental partnership. Listening to this song reminds me of a pitiful overweight Elvis belting out Unchained Melody as his final hurrah as every superfan realized that good things do come to an end.
