After 10 years of bickering and separation, Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler (formerly of Suede fame) have reunited and formed The Tears. "Refugees" is an epic romantic anthem, recalling the tragic hopes and fears of fellow Brits Morrissey and Jarvis Cocker. As Anderson sings "Let's take to the streets / You and I we're life's refugees / But like Bonnie and Clyde we're free / Don't say there's nothing between us," one can't help but pull for these characters, and root for the survival of these youthful ideals.
