Ugh. I'm incredibly disappointed that the Chicago Mylo date was cancelled.. I swear, hearing "In My Arms" live in a packed, sweaty, energized club would have made for one of 2006's very best highlights. Can't say much else expect that this song's a pure joy to listen to.
Mylo - In My Arms
yea indie rock. I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness is a 5-piece from Austen, TX, whose recent release has been gaining momentum (thanks in part to a push from indie superstars Spoon). The 80's new wave influence is strong, but thankfully, I never get the impression that ILYBICD is simply a retro-revival act. "According to Plan" has a strong, danceable, driving beat that gives almost gives the song a gothy, electro slant. Of course, this makes much more sense upon learning that Paul Barker - of Ministry fame - had produced the record. In any case, it's a nice little tune from the best rock record i've heard in at least a few months.

mylo remixes> everything else mylo.
but this is a good song.
and boris has been the best rock record in the past few months.
post some of his remixes. i'll be floored if they're better than "in my arms."
i like the boris record alright. i love the doom-ish first track.. the rest sounds too much like nirvana/melvins to warrant my undenying love.
i assuming you have the very excellent mylo vs. miami sound machine track.
somebody told me (mylo remix)

stealing bandwith from your neighbor rules. shitty bandwith sucks.
hey dave, when you were on your neighbors network when you moved, were there times when you simply couldn't even connect to the internet? i'm saying this because, maybe it's just a coincidence, but it seems it only works when she is not home or sleeping.
she's probably using your connection. maybe she's using indietorrents and oink and shit.. you should check it out.
i'm gonna assume you hate the secret machines, but you should check out their new album tensilverdrops. reminds me of everything we enjoyed about music when we were in high school. i've only gave it one spin, but at this moment, it's bringing me back to summerteeth, girls can tell, and whatever alt-country, indie rekord i can think of.
secret machines- all at once

i'll check out the secret machines track, but if i recall correctly, i didn't like them.
