For the first five minutes of every Godspeed You Black Emperor! song, I always start off thinking that music cannot be more perfect, but by that twelfth minute the feeling just lingers. This song by Mono is kinda the same way. It starts off so promising that there is no way it can climax without dissapointment. Kind of sucks thinking about it, but man for those first few moments it's like euphoria.
Mono- Moonlight

"The evolution of black metal remains among the most astonishing and unpredictable in all of rock. How else to describe a musical movement where the same artists whose early efforts comprised some of the most primitive and vile sonic mutations ever concocted could develop into highly skilled songwriters and musicians, capable of astounding works" Can't say it any better than that.
Enslaved- Violet Dawning

Hi. My name is Nathan and I make beats. 15 year old kid who listens to BoC and Ulrich Schnauss making his own shit. I'm so fucking jealous.
Nathan Fake- Bumblechord

I still need to wash out that Saint Etienne show from last night. I'm still pissed, and I got even angrier after watching some ATDI and Fugazi shows. I was expecting this.

I want Francoise Hardy to whisper secrets to me all day. I love how her words come out like she's breathing confessions. It feels like one heavy breath and she would collapse. God, I love 60's French pop.
Francoise Hardy- Meme Sous La Pluie
Francoise Hardy- La Question

I wish all pop songs got this sort of treatment. Chopped up and looped, throw in some minimal beats and you got yourself one of the best songs of this short year.
The Cribs- Another Number (Rollercoaster Project Remix)

Who is this? I don't even know where I got this from. It's untitled, but it is part of a four song album. Dave, I have a feeling you know who this is.
